Hannah Williams

I am a postdoctoral researcher specialised in movement ecology, bio-logging technology and social behaviour. My research has focused on the interpretation of fine-scale movement patterns and how the associated costs and risks influence large-scale movement strategies, with a particular focus on the the flight of large soaring birds.

Regularly involved in outreach, bringing my research and general scientific concepts to the public

As well as being an active researcher, I am also involved in a number of creative projects as an artistic consultant. I currently have two active projects both of which are animation focused, creating the graphics for a series of online tutorials and for a game application. This is also my outlet for getting creative with science!
